Why Sullivan?

You have a lot of choices when it comes to selecting a college, so why choose SUNY Sullivan?

Small Classes:  You get the individual attention you deserve from faculty who love to teach and want to help you succeed.

Residence Hall:  Located steps from campus is the Lazarus I. Levine Residence Hall which serves as home-away-from-home for more than 300 students.  Living in the dorm gives you the experience of “going away” to college without having to travel far or pay too much to do it.

Campus Life:  Since there’s a dorm near campus, SUNY Sullivan offers a variety of student activities to keep you busy when you’re not going to class, studying or working.  Plus you have the opportunity to get involved in the student government association, join one of the many clubs on campus or participate in a service learning project.  And what better way to connect with classmates while staying in shape than by taking advantage of the many intramural sports and fitness & wellness programs offered by the athletics department.

Championship Sports:  SUNY Sullivan is home to the Generals championship basketball and baseball teams.  Our fans can be found “down in the bunker” supporting our many intercollegiate sports teams including the four-time NJCAA Division III national champion men’s basketball team.

Affordable Education That’s Close to Home:  Starting at $4,742 a year for full-time tuition and fees, SUNY Sullivan offers an affordable educational option that’s conveniently located less than two hours from New York City and Albany.  And with 40 associate degree and certificate programs to choose from, you have a variety of options whether you’re interested in kick-starting your new career or continuing your education at a four-year college or university.
