A quality education lasts a lifetime, and so do the connections that graduates, supporters, and donors create with the SUNY Sullivan community. The SUNY Sullivan website helps all these friends stay informed of the latest college news, campus events, and more. This page, provides specific information regarding the SUNY Sullivan Foundation - an organization we hope any parties planning to give to the college will choose to support.
Education opens up a world of possibilities, and the SUNY Sullivan Foundation is dedicated to helping make those possibilities become reality.
The foundation’s mission is clear. We work to secure private funds to supplement the college’s traditional revenue sources. Through our ongoing efforts we provide scholarship assistance, funding for equipment and enrichment programs and the ability to enhance and strengthen selected academic areas and programs that prepare a student for life after formal education.
At Sullivan we award about $100,000 in scholarships each year. And given that 80 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid, those scholarships are definitely needed. Without generous contributions from alumni, donors and friends like you, deserving students from Sullivan County and beyond may not be able to get the education they need to become nurses, chefs, graphic designers, police officers, business owners and teachers.
Give today and give for tomorrow. There are many ways you can support the work of the foundation. For example, by making a gift to the annual fund, you can become a part of the ongoing effort to secure scholarship funds for future generations.
