Each student in need of special services such as an accommodation for a learning disability MUST self-identify in the department of learning and student services in order to be eligible to receive special services and accommodations. Students will be required to supply the college with the appropriate documentation. The student with learning disabilities requests testing modifications and sends a copy of his/her high school individual education plan to the department as soon after admission as possible. Services are provided on an individualized basis by considering both the student's limitations and the demands of the course of study that the student has chosen.
The college's facilities are accessible to students with disabilities. Sullivan does not discriminate on the basis of handicaps in its admissions, educational programs and activities in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Services for Students with Disabilities.
