Sullivan County Community College Foundation Hosts its 11th Annual “Start of Something Great” Golf Tournament

 

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY (June 14, 2010)

The Sullivan County Community College Foundation will host its 11th annual “Start of Something Great” golf tournament on Tuesday, June 29 at Grossinger’s Country Club in Liberty, New York. Proceeds from this event will benefit the SCCC Foundation scholarship program, which annually provides over $100,000 in student scholarships.

The $130 entry fee for the 18-hole tournament includes golf with cart, green fees, on- course refreshments, lunch, dinner, cocktails, raffle prizes and more. The tournament kicks off at11:30 a.m. with registration and lunch. A 12:30 p.m. shotgun will start the scramble competition. The tournament is open to all players, with prizes awarded to the top finishers. Non-golfers are invited to enjoy dinner and cocktails for $50, which will begin at 5:15pm.

Several area businesses and individuals have already made commitment to the “Start of Something Great” golf tournament. The tournament is sponsored by the Jeff Bank. M & M Auto Group, Inc. of Liberty will offer a 2010 Ford Fusion as a hole-in-one prize.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. They include hole/tee sponsors at $125; golf cart sponsor at $250; on-course refreshment sponsor at $500; happy hour sponsor at $600; lunch sponsor at $1,000; and dinner sponsor at $1,750. All sponsors will be acknowledged with signage on the course, a listing in the tournament program and mentions in all media coverage.
