SCCC Foundation honors seven Sullivan County Women with “Women Who Make a Difference” award


The Sullivan County Community College (SCCC) Foundation recognized the outstanding contributions of seven wonderful Sullivan County women by honoring them at “Women Who Make a Difference,” Friday, July 30 at the Villa Roma.  The combined energy of these wonderful women, who are dedicated to making Sullivan County a great place to work and live, electrified the room and brought the luncheon well-wishers to their feet.

Honored were: Elaine Giguere, Executive Director, Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (The Arts); Anne Ruszkiewicz, Associate Professor, SUNY Sullivan (Higher Education); Joan Farrow, Chair, Catskill Regional Medical Center Foundation (Volunteerism); Phyllis Coombe, Chair, SCCC Board of Trustees; Joyce Salimeno-Gitlin, Insurance Executive (Community Development); Dr. M. Howard-Golladay, President, SUNY Sullivan; Aileen Gunther, Assemblywoman, 98th District (Government Affairs); Rosemary Steuber, Supervisor, Catskill Regional Medical Center Blood Bank (Healthcare); and Helena Manzione, General Manager, Watermark Communications (Communications).
