Find Your Green Future at SUNY Sullivan’s Information Session

Loch Sheldrake, NY (Feb. 15, 2011) – If green is the color of the future, then SUNY Sullivan is fast become an Emerald City because we’ve seen the future and we know that it’s all about going green. If you see green in your future, you’ll want to attend our Green Learning and Clean Energy Technology Information Session, Saturday, March 5. The key to your future starts at 10:30 in the Green Resource area in SUNY Sullivan’s Hermann Memorial Library.

Following a tour of the college’s geothermal heating and cooling plant and a look at our new Photovoltaic Array, there will be presentations on Green Future, Green Careers; Credit/Academic courses; and on Professional and Continuing Education opportunities in the Kaplan Student Union.

Participants will then have an opportunity to engage in small group discussions on college admissions; renewable and efficient energy/online programs; electric cars, conversion and maintenance; green food services/facilities management; and green building maintenance/environmental science.

SUNY Sullivan has become a leader in greening initiatives and sustainability. With opportunities for degree-seeking students and adults interested in discovering how green learning can enhance your skillset, then you know where you should be on Saturday, March 5 (Inclement weather date: Sunday, March 6). You need to be at SUNY Sullivan.
