SUNY Sullivan offers Entrepreneurial Venture Course

 

Loch Sheldrake, NY (March 25, 2011) – Political leaders from around the world have declared 2011 the year of the entrepreneur… and SUNY Sullivan is doing its part to help prospective entrepreneurs get off on the right foot with “Preparing for the Entrepreneurial Venture,” a six-class course on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. starting April 13 and ending May 25. (The class will not meet on April 20).

Acclaimed entrepreneur, Mark Baez, president of Baez Associates, will guide students through the entrepreneurial maze. The course is designed to prepare students to embark on an entrepreneurial or business start-up venture.

Students will gain basic business knowledge and concepts, and learn the skills necessary to enter the exciting entrepreneurial world. The course will consist of classroom instruction, cases studies, and real-life tips from guest speakers. Material covered will also include product, marketing and financial planning.

The course fee is $75 and pre-registration is required. The class will meet in Room A109 at SUNY Sullivan.
