In-demand Career Information Session at SUNY Sullivan

Loch Sheldrake (NY) April 19 – As new and revised careers keep pace with the growing needs of a changing society, community colleges are being called upon to help train people for these careers. To this end, SUNY Sullivan is hosting a special Information Session, Thursday, April 28 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in room B105 for anyone interested in careers in cyber security, emergency management, fire protection technology and paramedics.

SUNY Sullivan is offering these programs as part of the Hudson Valley Educational Consortium (HVEC – www.hudsonvalleyeducationalconsortium.com), a collaborative effort between SUNY Sullivan, SUNY Orange, SUNY Ulster and SUNY Rockland. The HVEC program allows a student to enroll at SUNY Sullivan and take advantage of the programs offered by the other area community colleges. The courses are offered through a unique blend of interactive video technology, online learning and traditional classroom instruction.
