
Loch Sheldrake, NY (October 10, 2011) – It is the time of year when high school students begin looking for a college that’s right for them. SUNY Sullivan invites everyone who feels college enrollment is in their future to attend their informative Fall Tour Day to explore the programs, activities, and exciting opportunities available right here in Sullivan County. The event will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 5th, and will continue all day with guided tours, information sessions, and more.
Attendees will be able to get information on more than 40 available academic programs, including courses of study in Wind Turbine Technology, Culinary Arts, Gaming & Simulation Development, Nursing, Media Arts, Environmental Studies, Green Building Maintenance & Management, and more. There will be tours into the Paul Gerry Fieldhouse, home of the SUNY Sullivan Generals, and our championship intercollegiate sports teams and excellent Athletics Department.
Fall Tour Day will also provide time to meet some of our faculty members. Attendees can look into the college’s honors program, and all types of special interest clubs and activities available to SUNY Sullivan students.
Admissions representatives and other offices will also be available to answer your questions on enrollment, scholarships, and financial aid. Prospective students interested in living on campus will have a chance to learn about our dormitory and town house facilities, as well as the activities related specifically to residence life.
