Loch Sheldrake, NY (October 17, 2011) – Professor Dave Pollack, of SUNY Sullivan’s Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, is inviting the college and surrounding communities to attend a multimedia presentation focusing on his recent travels through Nepal. The event will take place on Thursday, October 27th, at 2:00 pm in the Seelig Theater on the campus of SUNY Sullivan. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Anyone interested in travel, geography, or history will enjoy Mr. Pollack’s collection of imagery captured at some of the world’s most scenic and ancient locales. His 45-minute presentation will consist of a short introduction, followed by a PowerPoint slide show set to music. No narration will be used during the slide show, as Mr. Pollack encourages attendees to immerse themselves in Nepal’s scenery, culture, and music.
