SUNY Sullivan to host "Cornucopia," a farm, food and wine festival

Loch Sheldrake (Oct. 24, 2011) There are craft fairs and festivals, and then there's SUNY Sullivan's "Cornucopia: an artisan, farm, food and wine festival", on Saturday, November 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Paul Gerry Field House. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.

SUNY Sullivan has taken all the best ingredients that go into making a great festival and rolled them into one amazing day of fun, food and holiday shopping.

With some of the best purveyors of regional wines, breads and baked goods, candles and homemade soaps, unique jewelry, specialty coffees, herbs, jams, handcrafted wooden toys and homemade quilts, participating in Cornucopia, food, wine vendors coming from all over the region, "Cornucopia," there will be something for everyone.

"Every year the college sponsors a craft fair," said Hillary Egeland, "Cornucopia's" organizer. "But this year we wanted to offer the people an opportunity to see all the great foods, wines and other products produced in the region."

Although many vendors have already signed up, there's still time left if you'd like to join us as a vendor.
