SUNY SULLIVAN BASKETBALL STANDOUTS CAPTURE EARLY SEASON HONORS

 

With less than half the season behind it, the SUNY Sullivan Athletics program is already pleased to recognize two of its basketball players for early season honors. They are Kunnuh Wisseh & Cleanthony Early.

From the Lady Generals, Kunnuh was honored with a selection to the All-Tournament Team at this month's Onondoga Community College Tournament.

For the tournament, Ms. Wisseh averaged an impressive 21 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal.

And from the Generals, Cleanthony Early scored his 1000th collegiate point during SUNY Sullivan's recent 99-66 win over SUNY Rockland.

Last year's JUCO DIII Player of the Year, Early has been steadily building upon his great freshman performance., averaging 27.3 per game this season. For those who do not already know, Early is committed to play Division I ball for the Shockers of Wichita State beginning next year.
